On July 31, 2012, Christus Santa Rosa Hospital – City Centre (located at 333 North Santa Rosa Street, San Antonio, TX 78207) will stop providing most adult inpatient and outpatient services. They will refer adult walk-in emergency patients to Christus Santa Rosa – Medical Center (located at 2827 Babcock Road, San Antonio, TX 78229). They will also redirect EMS providers to take adult patients who need emergency care to this location.

As of August 1, 2012, the City Centre location will only provide care for obstetrics, pediatric and neonatal inpatients and outpatients, including emergency services.

On or about September 16, 2012, Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital (located at 333 North Santa Rosa Street, San Antonio, TX 78207) will serve as a free-standing children's hospital. They will provide obstetric, neonatal and pediatric services.

There are other downtown options for hospital services. Members can access care at Baptist Medical Center (located at 111 Dallas Street, San Antonio, TX 78205) or Metropolitan Methodist Hospital (located at 1310 McCullough Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78212).
