Plan members who use maintenance drugs may fill their prescription through mail order.
The use of mail order is recommended only only for maintenence drugs, rather than drugs that
will be needed for a short time (e.g. antibiotics for an acute illness). Maintenance drugs are
typically used to treat chronic, long-term conditions. The mail order program is voluntary.
Our pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) has changed. Starting September 1, you'll need to
send mail order prescriptions to Wellpartner Pharmacy.
To receive your medications, you will need to obtain a new prescription of your mail order
medication from your provider, and submit this new prescription to Wellpartner.
Before submitting your prescription to Wellpartner, you'll need to register with them. You
may register with Wellpartner by visiting their site or by
calling (877) 935-5797. Please allow up to 3 weeks for processing and delivery of your first order.
